Hugh Masekela, South African jazz trumpeter and activist, dies

South Africa's music industry has been shocked by the loss of Hugh Masekela, who was a famous in trumpet and activist who fought against apartheid in the country.

Masekela also was known as the father South African of Jazzy.

Maseleka has passed away this Tuesday at the age of 78  from cancer disease.

On other hand President Jacob Zuma has sent his greetings to the deceased family by saying, "The nation mourns one of the most famous talent ... It's a completely lost music industry for the whole country. His contribution to the struggle for liberation can never be forgotten. "

"We want to convey our heartfelt hope to his family and colleagues artists and cultures in general. And let his soul rest in peace, " he added.
